Assembly Instructions

1. Ensure pump and motor shafts are free of nicks and burrs; coat with anti-seize grease and install keys.
2. Remove and discard retainer where applicable.
3. Mount flange on pump, aligning pump shaft key with slot on flange.
4. Mount male coupler half on pump — shaft end flush with coupler end. Apply Loctite 242 to set screw threads and tighten.
5. Mount female coupler half on motor — shaft end flush with coupler end. Apply Loctite 242 to set screw threads and tighten.
6. Mount pump-flange assembly to motor. Pump must be horizontal for proper lubrication.
7. After assembly, verify ~1/8" space between coupler halves through the slot in the flange.
